Der findes en lang række hæderspriser for brætspil. Priserne kan være en god inspiration, hvis man er på udkig efter interessante spiltitler. Da der er så mange af dem og en del af dem er uddelt af branchen selv, kan det være svært at navigere i dem. Nedenfor er derfor udvalgt fem priser, der efter vores vurdering kan have særlig interesse for brugere af Germangames.dk.

De udvalgte hæderspriser er: Germangames.dk’s Hall of Fame, der er baseret på en årlig brugerafstemning foretaget af brugerne på dette forum og Guldbrikken, der er en uafhængig dansk brætspilspris. Endvidere er det to tyske spilpriser: Spiel des Jahres og Deutscher Spiele Preis, hvor den førstnævnte primært er rettet mod familiespil og den anden mere retter sig imod strategispil. Den sidste pris er International Gamers Award, der i endnu mere udpræget grad fokuserer på strategispillene.
