Så er er en ny Age of Steam udvidelse på vej: Age of Steam Expansion: Mars Global Surveyor. Udvidelsen vil blive solgt sammen med et genoptryk af Age of Steam Expansion: The Moon.

Nu troede jeg, at det skulle være en eksklusiv udvidelse, der kun blev udgivet i et par eksemplarer... men jeg er naturligvis klar! Jeg ville stadig kunne more mig over at fremstille en S-togs-version, hvor kuberne var passagerer!

Om udvidelsen - altså Age of Steam Expansion: Mars Global Surveyor og Age of Steam Expansion: The Moon - hedder det sig:

The set contains two maps printed back-to-back, and the rules are in French and English. Age of Steam: the Moon is a reprint of the map released at Essen 05 with exactly the same rules, but it is printed on one large heavy paper instead of two small ones.

Age of Steam: Mars Global Surveyor is a new expansion only for four players. The originality of this expansion is that players cannot choose first their disc color and cannot choose the green discs. The Martians (the green discs) can be tranported as if they were green cubes, and each city where there is a Martian can accept a Martian (as if it were a green city). When a blue cube arrives in a blue city, a new Martian is born which can be transported around the planet.
